The 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea kick off on February 9th with the opening ceremonies. The freestyle skiers, including skiing halfpipe dont kick off until February 16th and 17th, however. For both mens and womens ski halfpipe, qualifiers and finals are split into separate days. The second Freeride World Tour stop in Golden, British Columbia finally went off on February 5th. On Monday, the clouds parted ways, giving the mountain a mystical glow feel. The Ozone looked unreal - it was an untracked venue full of many epic lines to choose from. The venue featured many technical, rocky runs with huge cliffs and chutes to hit. No backflips were seen, only threes. Occasionally a cloud of fog would roll in, briefly halting the competition due to visibility....

Introduction New for the 2017- 18 ski season isFritschi’s Tecton binding. Sort of new for this season is theFritschi Vipec Evo. Orders are placed through its website or app and then self-employed couriers transport orders from restaurants to customers. These self-employed couriers mostly use bicycles or motorcycles as transportation. Riders will avoid treacherous roads and any traffic, making deliveries up to twice as fast as regular deliveries. Each rider will be more than prepared to deliver throughout the snowy season. We want to give our customers one less thing to worry about this winter....

He had to move somewhere else to be able to keep skiing. I have moved to Lillehammer, and the parks in both Hafjell and Kvitfjell will be banging this year. After many months of speculation, starting with thepurchase of Intrawest and Mammothby an Aspen/KSL partnership, the new competitor to Vail Resort’s Epic Pass has finally been announced. The Ikon pass includes 12 destinations owned by Alterra Mountain Company and 11 other premier destinations, including many of the most iconic mountains in North America. The fine details of the pass have yet to be fleshed out, but their site suggests that at least one of the passes offered will be for unlimited or near-unlimited access to all the resorts below....
