Deep in the heart of Nevada lies an often overlooked mountain range - the Ruby Mountains. This is their story. An interesting idea came up: “What if….we snowbladed Terminal Cancer?”. Both of us are adept big mountain bladers so it seemed like the perfect idea! Tilen looking stoked (before crossing attempt #1) Hmmm…. Perfect conditions for snowblades! With plenty of high-elevation mountains, the state offers many skiable lines that stay in throughout the summer. You will eventually cross another forest road. Cross this and follow the creek drainage southeast. Once above treeline, youll see the crags. Climb the rolling hills and make your way along the east side of the ridge to the base. The area offers several steep and relatively short couloirs. The Three Sisters are the first youll encounter once youve entered the basin, and are all pretty narrow....
