The UK is on the hunt for the next big star in skiing and snowboarding. The Discover your Freestyle campaign is looking for athletes for the GB Park and Pipe Pathway team. Zermatt Glacier Days, a webseries featuring Will Wesson, Sami Ortlieb, Rob Heule and friends. The answer… pretty damn good. The core crew have their routine dialled in. Will, as far as I can see, has pretty much boundless energy. Dinner is a daily communal affair, enjoyed al fresco with the view of the ‘horn as a backdrop. He also joins Sami in the industrial scale consumption ofsweetberry wine. He’s also frequently ‘fired’ by the crew for anything from shaky filming to spilling said wine....

A bit late but better than never. That being said MAAD week took place in beautiful Whistler British Columbia this summer. Post-Skiing activities debut with a skate session at the sandbox helmet headquarters here in Whistler. The next day the girls took that knowledge to the air bag where everyone got comfortable trying new stuff. Upon arrival they were each given goodie bags full of gear curtesy of billabong and MAAD....

With the end of session five came the end of yet another amazing week on the glacier! All the boys taught the superpipe a lesson this week, to say the least. 3 months have now passed since I decided to ski every month of the year. July got off to an early start. The (somewhat) continuous line from the saddle of Mt. Add to that the numerous trout cruising the shoreline and I knew I had to make a return trip. Eric looking at the pretty lake. Our line started at the opposite side and meandered up to the saddle. After passing scores of deer and several moose, we arrived at the Lake Agnes Trailhead....
