The Freeride World Tour is back for another year of scintillating, death defying freeride action. Veteran Drew Tabke also was in the mix, with a 4th place overall for the season. Andorra is going to be a very intense start to the World Tour. You only have 3 events to get those points, so starting out well is crucial. Everyone is going to be battling in Andorra. Everyone is going to really want it....

There are events like these all over the world and they happen virtually every weekend, all winter. Theyre populated by local kids, a few bearded old guys and eager shreds from somewhere down the road. A riders three best results on the season are compiled to determine her rankings....
Banshee Bungee are synoymous with street skiing. The bungees are pretty much an essential for any crew out in the streets. Its all about the riders and giving them the ability to push the envelope on the streets. We will continue to work to give riders more opportunity to ride whenever and wherever they choose. The first stop was Killington, and their upper-mountain Reason park was stocked with jib features. Though the weather was blustery at times, the stoke was high for the first stop. Ian Compton takes a gnarly fall on the up-flat feature at Killington. The day started off with a session on the flat box with some of the younger skiers. Andy threw out prizes for tricks he called out, or just stuff that impressed him....
We were fifteen minutes into the drive when I asked what the purpose of this trip was. Drinking, Conor replied, turning back slightly from the steering wheel to address the question. Ive been essentially commuting to the mountains from Minnesota for the past couple of winters. Were expected to spend ~4 years of our prime years earning a college degree. Our surprisingly clean living space.. because no one’s ever home. But then the benders started. All in all Ive skied quite a bit the past month and made some equally as foggy memories....
Kev was dejected yesterday. We skied 11 am till 3 in the afternoon and the snow was good. It wasnt the conditions that were the bummer. Kevin makes music, just released his self-made album and sellssome of his instrumentals to skiers. All of them, he replied. $300 an hour. Not as easy as you’d think. Same at McDonalds, and the Nomad, and the Frontier restaurant up the road. The jokes about selling sex for money have become all too real....
The Bunch is not a single, clearly defined crew, they dont fit the mould. Thats not the important part Par Hagglund explained to me. Its funny how people… every interview Ive ever done is like Who are in the bunch? Thats missing the point, he said. Its just: The Bunch. Weird people attract weird people. People we like, we hang with, and we ski with them. Thats how we work....
After much speculation, it’s now official. Sammy Carlson has signed to Armada Skis. At age 26, Sammy Carlson has already built a legacy.
