Coming out of four days of non stop shred life though I think my attitude has changed. I think the last thing women’s skiing needs is another dude talking about “empowerment.” Maybe women’s skiing, like all skiing, is about having fun in the mountains. If that’s the case this Jackson Hole Shred Session was a great step in women’s skiing. There was skiing, stoke, smelly socks and sketchy maneuvers. There were cramped feet, tomahawks, yardsales, shin-bang, cossack trains and denim vests....

Four years ago, the Attitash community was crushed by the loss of David Kluge. Only 14 years old, David took his life by committing suicide at his house in Rockport, Massachusetts. No one could really understand why he would do this. He was a high honors student, a violinist, and most importantly, this kid could shred. He was throwing spins that other Attitash kids only dreamed of doing. Not only did this kid shred but he also was a great guy....

photos: David Malacrida The Jam Session just wrapped up at the 2015 B&E Invitational. To say that the set up at Les Arcs is unique almost doesn’t do it justice. Tom Wallisch airs over the spine. Sometimes the swore, they drank beer and called skiers in for interviews in between runs. With Nico Vuinier providing French commentary too it was a diverse broadcast. Contest results will be posted at 4:30 EST....

When the temperature dropped the course tightened up and the riders had to scale back. Parker White called it “the opposite of soft”. Parker White spent some time chatting with the livestream commentators. They eventually convinced him to do an all-backflip run, and P White set the bar high with five. He was rewarded for his efforts with the best style award. With Phil and Henrik on stage, he capped off the show with Triumph....

Weve been blessed with some amazing weather and an unbelievable setup for an event that really is another level. It’s hard to explain but look at the course shots and you’ll see how mad that is. Powderchasers.com, the ultimate tease for thosediagnosed with PADD, flagged Wolf Creek to be absolutely blower on Monday. Sunday: 12 in the last 24 hours. Holy shit, yes! The West Side of Wolf Creek Pass was closing Monday morning for avalanche control. Pulling into the Wolf Creek parking lot, we got stopped by an enormous front-loader doing snow removal....
