It started on October 18th, 2013. I made it to Brighton, threw everything into my backpack and began the hike. November brought about the normal season for Utah. November through April was easy, riding chairlifts, drinking beer and shredding with friends. In May, I fulfilled a dream of mine and went to Mt. May, month 8 of my challenge, was done. In no time at all, I was back on the road for the Beartooth Summer Sessions in June....

Yeah, its the third year. And its now called theNewschoolers Tell A Friend Tour Presented by Line Skis, says Andy Parry. The concept of the tour is to actively engage skiers to go out and have fun. It’s a different approach fromMutiny, which showed the raw truth of urban skiing. The film starts off with a beautiful monologue about snow and the love-hate relationship the narrator has withher. Noah Albaladejo is really good, and just too smooth. I want to see a full part from him in the near future. He has one of my favorite styles, as he seeks perfection in everyone of his tricks. Oh and the whole weird vibe with him contemplating insects, I liked that....
This was also the time where the trick-stomping maniac signed on the Volkl International Freeski Team and Adidas Goggles. Since then Russ has been travelling around Europe competing in Slopestyle and Big Air Contests. Nothing can hold Russ Henshaw back from doing what he loves most: freeskiing! The only reason why someone has so much courage and bravery can only be explained with passion. Russ is often described as the most talented and innovative freeskiers of his generation....

Training, the gym, cardiovascular training, resistance training, weightlifting, HIIT…. and skiing. I didnt but maybe you did. There are many that dont and many that do. The gymnastic elements people seem to hate create a great base for skiing much more than people realize. Like Scotty Lago, former Nike snowboarder, said in 2012 Even the BC guys are hitting the gym. Who comes back fast from ACL tears or things similar?...
