In the past, Ive generally preferred to ski very stiff cambered skis. I will say this ski is an absolute beast, just like the top sheet graphics. Now, lets take a more in-depth look at this stylish beast. Shape/Flex/Construction The Faction Prodigy 2.0 is a hybrid, asymmetrical ski with rocker-camber-rocker construction. Faction rated their flex as roughly 6/10, which I would say is pretty inaccurate. Luckily, I love a good stiff ski because this thing is way stiffer than average....

This years Candide 1.0 has had a complete redesign to make it an out-and-out, balls-to-the-wall park ski. Leaving the Prodigy series as the option for more playfulness and with more all-mountain rocker in similar widths. The 1.0s are stupidly stiff in hand, they take some serious force to get them bending at all. But this means they rebound like crazy! This years 2.0 and CT ladies skis also have these new features....

The ski that jumps, slarves, slashes, and cuts. Underfoot the weave is tighter to provide better edge hold in firm snow. I found this strange because the amount of taper and tail rocker should make them very easy to ski. I kept catching the tails in technical zones even after detuning them much more than I typically do....

It is good to see a company touting its green manufacturing while still producing fun skis. They claim this results in better edge hold, more control, less fatigue, and higher performance. Shape/Flex/Construction: The Yewps feature a full sidewall construction, and a 34 edge wrap to reduce swing weight. It has what Lib Tech calls the Biobeans topsheet and an Eco light construction wood core. The whole construction is billed as eco-friendly....

That’s one word to describe how I feel after trying out the G3 SEEKr 100. Ill talk about this in more detail later in this review. The SEEKr is a very light ski, but even so, quite a stiff one too! But that’s not the case with the G3 SEEKr. They are definitely the lightest 100mm underfoot skis Ive ever skied! This makes Keep It Real feel perhaps more of a series of vignettes than one whole movie. It works well in some areas and left me wanting in others. So I wouldnt say I found it hard. Its a different way to enjoy the process. We made it work though and I feel blessed and lucky. Throughout filming, I couldnt sleep much because of the stress. I wanted that to come across in the movie, so I hope it does....

Markus opens this film with a bang. We are treated to a full showcase of these here. Ahmet Dadalis impressive cameo in this segment proves the old adage that quality reigns over quantity. I did feel occasionally that it was missing something. A launch movie for a powder ski was never going to feature street shots. The trip to Japan though, definitely gets the wanderlust going and has top crew vibes running throughout....

Few mountains have a legacy nor iconic presence which can compare to Mt. Hood Wilderness, overlooking thousands of acres of public National Forest land. I was upset to hear that no brands valued the idea, continued Mt. Magmas title card is plain and under-designed, but well compliments the intentional production quality level that Owen chose. It plays through effortlessly at a thoughtful pace, pulling the viewer along without going too fast or slow....

Strictly have already smashed it this year and the films have only just begun dropping. Three stellar films from Strictly this year _ MOST GUTTERharks back to Banged Up! as an all-street offering from Strictly. Its great to see the all-out send of Zahner paired with the creativity of Koukov, for instance. All of the riders are distinctive in their styles and that makes Most Gutter feel fresh throughout. Wealso get our second cameo from legend Will Berman this year....

I bought the ARV 84 because I got a killer deal on it at a ski sale. As far as bang for your buck, these skis are right up there. As youll see, these skis do a bit of everything. Construction/Shape The ARV 84 is a near symmetrical ski with a full camber profile and no taper. The flex is medium. Id say from tip to tail that the ski feels like this - 6 - 7 - 8....
