You wait in line watching the clock tick by for the minute the lifts start rolling up the hill. You’ve been up since an ungodly time in the morning with your slightly reluctant ski partner. You’ve eaten something that made you feel slightly ill when travelling up. The coffee picked today to scold the roof of your mouth. The sun is only just rising over the taller peaks and the lift is still in shadow....

For the last weekend of the season, Nico Vuigner put together one fun spring session in Crans-Montana. During three days, riders where able to session a course shaped with the last snow left. Every run is timed and the rider gets deductions on his time based on the tricks performed. Unfortunately the weather was probably the worst it could have been. So thanks to you Anthony and Augustin for the laughs....

The End. The end of a trip, the end of the season, the end of anything; we embrace it and we dread it. This weekend brings about the close of the competition season, a season where all of skiing was cast under the shadow of one event, the Olympics. The coaches, the athletes, the photographers are all tired, all longing for the summer, even though deep down inside we all know come two weeks after closing they will all start counting down the days til the snow begins to fall again....

An original product with original people running it. This man also runs Panda Poles, the famous bamboo poles you may see sometimes all over the world. A man with so much stoke for life brings stoke to his team and to his skiing. Smiles, Snow and Stoke is what TanSnowMan lives for and his family live it too. But I owe a huge amount to Oakley White-Allen for helping nurture such a strong community....

Since the fall, Sean Pettit and company have been teasing some particularly artsy shots from their upcoming project. Each new preview has led us to speculate further about just what these guys are up to. (Insert speculation here. No, seriously, insert it. I cant find it anywhere.) Well, our frayed nerves can at last be put to rest. In many ways, the trailer raises more questions than it answers. Is there any aesthetic more pleasing than black and white?...

Oscar Scherlin he award show at the end of the event gave us every reason to celebrate. The riders were judging each other while they watched themselves throwing down in the summarizing video. The action-packed video featuring the insane jump was also declared “Best GoPro Shot”. Hats off to Jesper! So it was no wonder he was votedBest Style". We’ll start things of with the infamous “HANDLE” cameras! Made extremely cool with the famous HANDLE that gave all filmers absolute precedence in the park. Where you at buddy? They later added a viewfinder for the vx2000. you might now find one of these for 400 bucks when they used to sell for 2200+. you’re free to find these dudes on skateperception.com or in eheath’s F-you list. It came out in 2008 and quickly became an NS favourite thanks to Horner’s test footage edits....
