Glacier riding at COC was fun, but definitely lacked what I was truly looking for. In January, I was already looking into plane tickets to New Zealand for the following summer. Once I arrived, I was absolutely blown away! Our first day was in the middle of july and we had POW. I was loosing my mind. So after about 5 days, if that, things got real. It’s been unbelievable!...

In the middle of this month all the big names in freeskiing made the journey to Mt. Bachelor, Oregon for the Sammy Carlson Invitational. With plenty of cash being splashed about the event saw some impressive riding. McRae made the final 15 cut with some smooth doubles and big rotation tricks onto the enormous wall. The official camp countdown to the beginning first day of Windells Camp summer 2012 is just a little more over one week. Here at camp, the Diggers have arrived and are getting all of the features ready to go on hill. Head Digger Chase Weaver and his crew are putting finishing touches on everything before they take it up to Timberline to the Windells private park. We’ve been staring at our snowboards and skis in our rooms long enough, we’re ready to hit the slopes....

It’s getting exciting here at Windells as new staff members are arriving every day. Head Counselor Cody Lee took some quick photos showing a little of what the counselors were up to today. Fast greens and tournament-like conditions await golfers every day. Towering Lodgepole and Jeffrey Pines line the fairways as the course weaves through a natural mountain surrounding with Mt. Rose as its backdrop....
Besides the Pacific Northwest, pretty much everyone was hurting for snow this winter. Well, they weren’t rumors. The snow was plentiful and Will Wesson was in the right place at the right time. Take a look at his Euro adventure in what we can only assume is mouth deep powder. We are stoked to have the whole Line Traveling Circus crew back with us for Session 3 this summer.
