Today was the day of the days! Semi-finals in DewTour slopestyle. I was on top of the course at 8.00 this morning, ready to shred. The training went well and I got my run a few times. 2 rail-features into two 20 m jumps. Then a rainbow-box or shoot-out-rail to two major jumps. I missed the grabs and I got smacked in the face by the judges. 60 points out of 100....

Here’s another couple of things which made it onto my shopping list. The camera is great but it does come with its limitations. There’s a number of microphones available but I opted for a Rode Videomic. I’m looking forward to the future of video, thats for sure. Yonguno 560 Flash Ok, the jury is still out on this one. I can talk abou the build quality though, first impressions are its built like a tank....

SkiDazzle kicked off the season with the largest ski and snowboard consumer show in the nation! [[Show as slideshow]] SkiDazzle gave winter hungry Californians a taste of Mt. Participants had the opportunity to learn the basics from our amazing coaches at Windells. Everyone from the four year olds to the fifty-eight year olds was wearing a giant smile. Skiing and snowboarding indoors in California? The event filled days of Ski Dazzle were topped off with our very own rail jam competition....

Last year she was 6th in Wold Cup in Telluride and won top honors in the Junior World Champs. Not familiar with snowboarder cross? I got a respectable A 7th place at the first race of the World Cup! More fear than harm, I’m doing pretty well. 0900 AM chair up to the park, so nice outside. Last two jumps in park-lane, Breckenridge s medium park-lane.  Last jump. Really nice two jumps. Me and Thomas Dlplads where skiing all day today. Like 5 hours or so. I worked on some left 9 s and Dlp did sw dub 10 and right 10s. So underrated as a skier!! Me in the chair. Enjoying every minute of this lovely day....

Wind-gusts and snow was what the skiers had to go through today. Many Norwegians and Swedish skiers had to go through slopestyle qualifiers today. 60 was supposed to be 9. Thomas Dlpads and Alexander Aurdal moved on from the qualifiers. Me on the other hand experienced a bit of altitude-sickness. Not the best condition for slopestyle practice. I skipped skiing today.
