Just a perfect day!

Had a good late breakfast with a lot of coffee this morning, I think that did the job! Today was the day were we would hit the big kicker in daylight, and I mean why not. Look at the perfect weather! Kicker looking good and a bit scary for a guy who haven t been skiing too much lately. I figured out the speed and did a couple of airs, 360s and a few switch 540s....

Nikon D7000 Review

Ok, so I’ll start off by saying I love this camera. I really enjoy having the ability to use all my lenses, especially the 50mm f/1.4. The auto focus is blazing fast and lights up the points as it focuses. The still focusing with my old school nikon lenses works well with little arrows assisting focusing. 100-1600 is pretty much perfect, noise starts building gradually up to ISO 25600. The white balance works and I’ve been very pleased with the results....

Daily dose of Shred

After a quick episode of Chuck we went out to do a couple of airs in the public park. I think I have to do that way more in the future! (By the way. This took forever… OMG. Felt like so). Thomas Dlplads were out shredding, and seeing him + Jesper Tjader was quite a fun view! They are both sick skiers! My KOSS Port Pro in White. Living and loving with great music while skiing....

North Face: Heli Edit

Everyone read the news in September that Tom Wallisch, Mike Riddle and Nick Martini had signed for North Face. Well North Face have released this heli edit showing off their new talent and, like I thought, it’s pretty sweet. It’s not the greatest video in the world but the skiing speaks for itself.Enjoy.MPORA Action Sports »Related posts:The North Face South American Freeskiing Championships 2009 Highlights from the the North Face South American Freeskiing Championships…North Face Big Mountain Comp …from The Volkl NZOpen....

Salomon Freeski TV: NZ: Bobby Brown

We all know that Bobby Brown is one hell of a busy bloke but I didn’t realise how busy until I saw this episode of Salomon Freeski TV. He says he hasn’t been in one place for more than a week until he got to New Zealand. Now that’s gotta be pretty tough after a while no matter how awesome it sounds! Anyway, before I blabber on too much, here’s the latest episode of Salomon Freeski TV with Bobby Brown and Alexi Godbout meet up with AJ Kempainen in New Zealand....

Skis need bindings

Well they do, and if you don t have them mounted, you have to do it yourself. Well, I wanted to do it myself, everything needs to be learned. I learned one thing yesterday. I suck at mounting bindings! But I made it after a good amount of help.  Gotta pack my bag, Trysil and a big ass jump is waiting for me. You get the idea, right?
