After 17 stages and 83 hours, Hesjedal is slightly more than nine minutes behind the leader. He is 2:15 behind the seventh place rider....

Maritimes!

Yesterday, I left my family in Europe and flew from Frankfurt to Montreal to Halifax, to have some fun with Nathan and Marshall for two weeks. Some unmentioned people seemed to have some doubts in my abilities to navigate airports after my previous attempt to fly from Vancouver to Castlegar a few years ago that ended up in me being stranded at a Greyhound station in Merritt at 11PM. But I made it here just fine!...

CWGKA Throwdown Video

A snowboarding competition in the middle of June? I had a lot of fun at this event. I saw lots of talent, along with all the great falls you saw in my previous blooper video. It was split into three groups; girls, boys, and men, with three winners in each. I decided to bump this video in front of the others. I felt that time was an issue and wanted to finish it before the summer ended....

A Glass Half Full

It doesn’t take much work to surf the web and find a multitude of violent images and video clips from the G20 weekend here in Toronto. Without a doubt news agencies went after the violent persona of a few dozen hoodlums who were looking for attention, and the media gave them that much wanted attention. My goal with this small piece was to show a lighter side, or rather a glass half full, of the series of events that took place over the weekend, including the thousands of peaceful protestors who marched the streets of Toronto....

Back to work

Chilling out with my cat watching tv. Long days at work doesn t really give you more energy. Played a few tracks on my decks earlier. Rain outside means no tramp, which sucks. Hopefully I ll manage to get up early enough to sneak in a quick workout before I start work. Wish I had more time off to enjoy a real summer vacation like many others. But, to be honest I need the money more!...

Deep Summer

So some cool news on the photography front for me. I received an invite to the Deep Summer Photo Challenge, held Aug 7-11 in Whistler, BC. I have competed in a couple of these before, most recently, the Deep Winter Photo Challenge. The lineup this year for Deep Summer is probably the heaviest hitting lineup possible for this event. Jordan Manley, Sterling Lorence, Sven Martin and Paul Morrison. Ticketing info for that will come shortly, as well as details on our Vancouver show....
