The first ever Sammy C Invitational kicked off for training today at Mt. Everyone was killing it and having fun on the jump. Unfortunately, Durtschi took a spill on his last jump and had to be carted off by the patrol. We all have our fingers crossed that he will be good to go for the morning. Session 3 at Windells Camp is underway and another day on the slopes at our private camp. Kim is from New Hampshire and was working to get her tricks back after an injury this winter. Why did you choose to come to Windells Camp? Kim: I got in an accident early season last year so I was out for 7 months. So I’m just trying to get to how I was before....

One inrun turned into two, and Didrik lent me his 5 m long pvc pipe for rail. Simple sulution to lock the pipe, and prevent it from sliding away while using it. Not exactly a masterpeace of a carpenters work we are doing here, but it does the job. Two inruns, the new one a little shorter. After last summer I found out I didn t need much speed. Not exactly the JOI jumps, but it should be something fun to do throughout the summer....

Gabe Langlois is one great cinematographer. Baldy and hasn’t looked back since. What got you started behind the lens? I was never really as good as the rest of the guys though (laughing). Two years later Rick started doing Tree Top and asked me if I wanted to film for him. What’s on your resume these days? Well, I started with Tree Top and then shot with Absinthe for two years....

Alex Martini was also attending, and happened to be in Mammoth. The weather was beautiful in Mammoth and the park was insane the few days prior to the event. Martini and I decided to ski until the last day possible and drive through the night up to Hood. The weather was nice for a few runs, and the Paintbrush park was in prime form. The speed was pretty intense, and because of it, Will almost jumped the first box completely....

Today is my last day of vacation, and I am spending it on fixing my summer-rail setup. The plan is to make two separate inruns with balcony grass (fake), and kickers. Then in between these two I will throw in a 5 meter long pvc pipe. Snow is beeing made as we speak, and all I have to do is go get it. I will keep you posted as I get her done!...

I have to admit; I don t use my trampoline as much as I should. I mean, it is a pretty darn good trampoline, and pretty good for body-control. But today I got a few bounces on it, and here is the video;
