Mt. Nebo 5/13/10

Nebo stands at 11.928, the highest peak in the Wasatch Range. Accessable from Mona, UT, majestic Mt. Nebo is a true gem. You approach via 4×4 road which you drive to the snow line. The climb is big 5-6,000 feet, so what better time to start hiking than 10am. You follow this slide path for probably 4,000 vertical feet. We had great skinning conditions it was about 8 inches of bonded snow on ice....

St. Petersburg, Russia 2006

For my parents generation, the idea of Russia was of this large region covered in secrecy and danger. What was really behind the iron curtain? Ripe with poverty and Bentleys. Oil and barren Siberia. Little babushkas and hott, alien super models. Despite the new access to Russia, it is still a bit tricky to get in. In 1703, Tsar Peter I (Peter the Great) moved the Russian capital to St. Petersburg....

TGR goes 3D

TGR has always tried to push the limits of new technology. We worked with V.I.O to develop a functional action sports POV camera years ago. Now it was time to start talking about 3D. We had one main shoot left for our new film Light the Wick. We spent the next few weeks going through a crash course in 3D filmmaking. Jason Goodman from 21st Century 3D and his assistant Pedro met us with crates of gear....

I?m back!!

I do work as a full-time salesman, and a part-time dj, but I am still a skier! 3 hours each way, but SO worth it! Really bad visibility sometimes! As I said, really bad visibility with a few dashes of sun every once in a while. We had tons of fun anyways. The park at Juvvass is really cool. I simply loved the second jump! Believe me, it is an obsession out of this world!...

Czech Republic 2007

Scott and I passed around many ideas of where to go. Somehow or another, we settled on spending a month in the Czech Republic. Well, such means of travel are a certain quick way of breaking someone in to international traveling. Making no plans, not speaking any Czech, and flying by the seats of our pants. In Germany the trains run ON TIME. Is he going to get off at the first stop then catch the train back?...

In the Flesh

At that time they were just ideas and sketches. Last night, Jared from Kab Rails dropped off the new features and they look amazing. Check em out and let us know what you think. The unfinished wood will be covered with a DrySlope like material. I have never seen this here at Hood, but I hear it is all the rage in Utah. This Stair set is not connected to a box or rail feature....
