Ten Years Of Travel. Part 1, Asia.

I fully realise how much i travel. I seem to spend my life drifting through airport arrival halls as i move onto my next destination. Now due to time and money constraints i feel that the amount of actual travelling i do is limited. “Getting it out of my system” as some people would say. I literally found about 40 photos. First stop, South East Asia. Cheap noodles on the Khao San Road back in 2004, my fourth time in Thailand....

Korea, me likey

And just like that, with less than two weeks notice, I had a plane ticket to China. Leaving Denver, I headed to LA and then to Seoul, flying over Siberia. My first view of Korea. I grabbed a bus, and then a cab with some locals to head to the heart of Seoul. I checked into a room, ditched my bag, and hit the streets. I was quick to grab some traditional street food as I adventured....

Tramp-sunday

Work from 9 – 3 and then from 10.30 – 03.30. Ida returned from vacation, and we did a lot of work outside and inside the house. Good to get things done. I took some time off with busting out a few tricks on the tramp. It is really important to be able to stay at the excact same spot on the trampoline each bounce. Elsewise you will be thrown off quite easily!...

A little taste of summer

It is nearly impossible to put my thoughts and pictures to this blog. It has been strictly work and yeah, just work. I also managed to finish off the trampoline-project. But, with a digger and a little luck I was able to pull it off! Only thing missing is my skills. I had this dream the other night, that skiing was as easy as a Tv-game. To be honest, skiing is 10 times easier than this trampoline....

IndiSlider and Indi (shoulder rig)

indiSystems makes simple, affordable, and quality cinema accessories. Tim is an extremely busy man who stands by his product. Put it on the ground or mount it on a tripod, hang it in the ceiling. Now you have 3 areas of support for smoother handheld shots and less fatigue in the long run. The best thing about these products is they cost a fraction of the competitors offerings. More indiSystem product reviews coming soon....

Russell Beer and Parties!

Because Russell is BC brewed and is all natural with no preservatives. Maybe its placebo, but once I figured that out the beer really did taste cleaner. When I have other beers they taste a bit chemically now. Maybe I’m biased. and Russell Wee Angry Scotch Ale. Nic and my alma mater has a wonderful club called UBC ski and board. This club is also reknowned for throwing ridiculous parties....

Selkirk Wilderness Skiing

Never heard of it. SWS is the orginal catskiing operation and it began in 1975. Since then, hundreds have tried to imitate them. But the original is still the best. Why had we never heard of them? Well, pretty much ever since their inception, SWS has had a waiting list hundreds of people long. All those people who suggested SWS were right. The boys were amped to get after it....
