The weather in Utah was mild and the snow was not great. We did notice that all of the weather was out east. Unfortunately, this trip was not going to work out due to everyone competing in the Aspen Open. Flying to shoot urban does bring up some difficulties. First off we had no drop in, just a bungee. Then we somehow had to acquire a generator and additional lights (I brought a couple)....
And I ended up winning… weird.

In 5 years a lot of things have changed in skiing. Videos have crazy new things that are new and cool every year. Well all but one part of them, the feeling of deep powder skiing. The photo from 2005 is why i fell in love with doing the same thing alot. Both taken by different photographers, but both taken to capture the same feeling. Both with the skier in the same position....

Since it is raining outside today, I am lacking motivation to ride my roadbike up to the ski hill. This brings an end to my 28 day streak of skiing everyday. I am at 111 days in total - pretty good! After the 5-6 hour drive home from Lillehammer, I stoped by a few hours at home. Checked in on the hotel, and got my room. Small but cozy I guess. This weekend is going to be way more crowded than last night I guess. Then off to shred the railpark maybe?
Well, a pretty cool day actually. Started off early with a 30 minute skate-session on cross-country skis. Long time no see! I have to admit I was pretty exchausted after the skitrip up to the mountain. I think it got pretty good, as we was skiing it for the whole day! Even tried a misty off the first rail to the left. No doubt about it, this IS the home of Bomba energy in Sweden and Norway....
Today I realized 2 things: 1. My computer suck 2. I suck at editing video. But anyways, here is a small recap in moving pictures from the last two days. Nothing special, just a recap.
Or if you’re able to consider it a holiday when all I do is ski all winter. I think you could, cause it’s not as glamrous skiing as you think. Good to have some time off from competitions and hard skiing. To come up to Storlien in easter-time is just awesome. Storlien is my home-mountain, and also the BOMBA energy headquarters. A lot of cool people up there, and it should be good times....
Day 2 of the Scott / Monster weekend in Sun Valley has come and gone. Monster Energy drink happened. A ton of local kids came out stoked to meet Wallisch, Dorey and Chug. We were greeted by the local Ketchum Police.
