Yesterday was qualifyers for the Ruka Fabolous slopestyle in Finland. Both Marius and Klaus had doubles in their run, and I didn?t. But it started out allright, and I got in the finals with 8th place after qualifiers. A run consisting of switch 9 mute ? frontflip out of the launch box ? 270 in 270 out of the handrail ? 270 switchup 270 on the kinkbox. Sig Tveit won the whole thing, with a smooth run with a lot of style....

The event-organizers of Fabolous Ruka took us to a pretty cool place last night. The actual home of Santa-Claus, or so they say. -22 minus is cold. Me, S-Claus and Marius. Not everyday we get to see the santa in person. Afterwards it was time to join the most finish of the finish traditions; Sauna! The feeling of jumping back into the tub was absolutely fabolous! If you get to try it sometimes, DO IT!...

The Mouse Run Terrain Park will be partially open on Saturday and fully open on Sunday. I will post picture when the park is compete but here is a little preview…. The top of the park will start out with 2 lines of boxes and rails. So many option! Next you drop into a rainbow rail. Park crew has been working hard. A true community is hard to find these days. Not only did we greet each other but also we looked after one another. We all end up sharing a common bond of knowing the feeling of sliding on snow. That makes us a community, a community that spans the globe. This year for me I will undergo my most drastic change. Everyone was somehow connected and together we formed a family....

To protect the partners investments in TAC, the organization decided today to postpone the event to March. Warmer temperatures than normal in both November and December has made it impossible to produce enough snow. All this would have been sunk costs if the weather forecasts did not come true. TAC was not willing to take this bet against the weather forecasts. Especially as the bet included other people?s money ?...

Kuusamo Airport, and we were the only one there? They even got their own christmas-tree. When we got out of the plane we had to walk 50 metres. The coldest metres I have ever felt. -25 C Marius is freezing, and Klaus Finne trying to look steezy in behind. All I ever did yesterday was to eat. But actually on this picture it was Sigbjrn Tveit who had the munchies!...

Just got to Finland, Ruka a couple of hours ago. -25 celsius, cold as the north-pole. No skiing today, just chilling and getting everything into place. Posting a few pictures from the trip later tonight.
