One can’t help to become speechless on such an unbelievable powder day.AA With 34 inches of snow from this storm cycle; 13 inches on the upper mountain last night, and to put the icing on the cake, it was a blue bird powder day!AA Everyone had a smile on his/her face.AA How could you not?AA The sun was shining and the powder was deep.AA Like I said, it renders one speechless....

ItAAATMs been a huge snow year down here, which usually means great season for us this next winter. ItAAATMs been a blast, but I canAAATMt wait to get back home to Alpine Meadows. AA The parks at Alpine will be the place to be this winter. The AAAKangarooAAA park has now been renamed AAAThe ShreadowsAAA, because we all called it that anyways. We think the new name is way cooler....

We are embarking on a completely updated plan for our terrain parks this winter. Everyone here including our general manager Kent Hoopingarner is excited about the change. We will keep you posted as plans develop.

Jonas, our Terrain Park Manager, built up a special kicker just for the kids. Kids 10 years old and younger had their own day on the park. Competition was stiff and everyone has a blast! The event kicked off @ 11:30 and the kids were flying everywhere! These little guys and girls are amazing! Those kids are made of rubber. They all bounced back and had a great time. After sessioning the kicker for about an hour, the kids took two runs for the crowds....

The latest batch of storms have been light and deep – much more snow than I expected!AA Conditions were super fun, and we hiked out to High Yellow over and over again.AA Pretty chilly out there, with some gusty winds.AA But those winds kept filling up our tracks so freshies lasted all day.AA Seems like more snow is in the forecast, so the fun will keep on going!
