Don't Be A Dick(A response to the Outside and Powder articles about drinking and skiing)

We’ve all seen the articles posted by people angry about others drinking and skiing. I read an article today from Outside that fits more into the latter. Complaining about anything and everyone. So before I go any farther, let’s get into the route of this. Any sport and any place can feel a little overwhelming when you visit. Whether it’s going to a new skate park or starting a new job....

Four Turns

I really want these first four turns. Im so ready for it. I was focused on the turns Id make, not what could go wrong. Now though, standing at its entrance, I cant summon those perfect visualizations anymore. I cant play that four turn sequence through anymore. I never duck into the safe zone to wave my friends down. We discussed our options on the skin up. This one hasnt, and it looks like it hasnt been skied yet this year either....

They’re his kind of ski: fairly stiff, energetic, and poppy. Skis for a skier who likes to go big. I, on the other hand, rarely like skinny skis. I rarely like stiff skis either....

Ski Pow ‘Till the Dog Poop Shows

In my backyard, I can judge how good the skiings going to be based on the dog poop. The dogs head out to the yard to take care of their business roughly every morning and evening. I clean up all the dog poop most days around midmorning. Or the dogs are seriously constipated. Either way, if I cant see poop, Im going skiing. They pepper the once perfectly white backyard, stinky reminders that the dog needs to eat less human food....

In-Depth Review: 2023 K2 Reckoner 102

This review was conducted on the 2021 Reckoner, which is identical except for graphic changes. The Reckoner 102, however, definitely fills the gap left by the Shreditor 102. The dimensions are somewhat par for the course, as is the 18.5(ish) meter turn radius. The flex is on the softer side of medium. Its also fairly damp in my opinion, as are almost all K2 skis Ive ever tried. The construction, however, is much lighter than past K2 skis....
