The streetstyle course wasn’t the biggest or craziest of rail setups but some of the riding certainly was. Everyone was else dropping hammers all night long too. Sam Zahner took a heavy crash to the head/collarbone, so hopefully he’s ok. Alex Hall got a crazy 4 on 6 on the high rail. When it came down to it only 3 skiers could make the top three. Alex Hall, Siver Voll and Tucker Fitzsimmons, with Colby taking best trick....
More than one rider hadnt tried any tricks on the jumps at all during that session. With qualifying cancelled, all 16 athletes competed in a two-run final. Antoine Adelisse dropped first and guinea pigged the course, straight airing all three jumps. He did easily clear all three though and that gave the following riders the all-clear to send. He seemed stunned to end up with a lowly 81.00. He had a slightly loose rail hit but that seemed really low to us too....

With some tech and style in the field, it was anyone’s game heading into the final round. The snow continued unabated, and it was almost pow skiing on the landings.

For the 2021 ski reviews and every previous years, ski tests are notoriously tricky venues to judge skis. The reality is you get a couple of runs maximum per ski and have to make a snap judgment. There are so many variables out of your control too. How is the tune on the ski? How bad are the demo bindings (I broke 2 pairs so pretty bad)? Are the conditions at all appropriate to try the ski in question in the first place?...

Dont get me wrong, I love traveling to ski. Its a little hard to define what really makes a ski area your home hill. The obvious factor would seem to be proximity, but I know from experience, thats not really true. But even though I spent more time driving than skiing most weekends, it was undoubtedly my home hill. It was my place, it defined what skiing was to me, I felt at home there....

He then decided to sell his season pass for a canoe. While this might sound like a tale of mental instability for non-skiers, this happens more than you think.
