Theyre back at it now and released a full line of skis again. Im looking forward to trying more, but the subject of this review is the Park Blanks. These are not a new ski shape, however. I got these skis in late February 2018 and skied them on weekends until May 13th. Somehow, I expected the Park Blanks to be fairly soft. Mostly hearsay and mixed feedback Id gotten from their skis from back in the day....
In December 2017, Saga Outerwear had a huge part of their 2018 inventory stolen. Last year we had just finished production, all the goods had shipped in. It was the first release of our womens collection. Our storage container and warehouse got broken into, we dont know how much is gone. We dont know if its a small amount or not or really whats going on. They were still counting and going through everything....

However Folsom’s expertise is in tailoring a ski to the skier’s needs and wants. My skiing is usually in high moisture-content snow. Accordingly, my preference is for bigger skis....

Brands send us the sticks and we spend a solid chunk of our own seasons shredding them. The tip rocker profile is long, reaching deep into the ski. The tail rocker is less pronounced. Underfoot, there is 2mm of traditional camber. There is a small amount of taper in the tips, but it is barely noticeable. Given the rocker, I expected them to be good in powder. Born and raised in Michigan, Mike Hornbeck was like many kids. He clicked into his first pair of skis in Kindergarten. The nearest hill, Bittersweet, was about 15 minutes from my house. Theyre just little hills, pretty far from actual ski towns. When youre driving to the ski resort its just countryside, no sign of the ski industry. Its pretty much just a ski area out of nowhere 250-300 vertical feet, super small....
