Invest in a Fast Camera

Digital SLR cameras have become ridiculously fast.

My everyday lens is a Canon Zoom EF 100-400mm, and for Maui surf spots, that is plenty.

It is also smaller, lighter, and easier to carry.

Sometimes a barrel ride can take over 25 frames to fully capture.

On the other hand, whenever I house my camera to shoot from the water that whole scenario changes.

Using either will make your camera stable, helping you to avoid blur causing camera-shake.
