Ive been riding Armada for over 16 years.
Grew up trusting the brand, pushing it hard on cliffs, steeps, and sidecountry lines.
The Declivity X 102s were supposed to be a chargers dream stiff, responsive, and durable.
Three pairs of Declivitys.
All shattered, delaminated, or blown out under normal big mountain use in less than 10 days each.
And Armadas warranty support?
Replaced 2 pairs, and assured me the technology changed.
When third failed in same spot leaving me skiless at Jackson Hole, Crickets.
They cited that this was from normal wear and tear and basically a shoulder shrug.
Im not smashing rails or tomahawking down groomers.
I ski aggressively, but these skis are advertised for the exact bang out of terrain Im riding.
Each model has failed in less than 11 days in the exact same spot.
This is not the brand I trusted for over a decade.
Has anyone else noticed a serious decline in build quality lately?
Somethings changed and its not just how I ski.
1st ski Top Sheet + Edge Separation: Clean snap right at the binding line.
This was the first to go only 6 days in.
2nd Base Blowout and sidewall unzipped again base started peeling mid-run.
I felt it catch before I saw it lasted 8 days
3.
These arent isolated defects anymore.
I would love to know if anyone else is experiencing Armada’s Build Quality going to trash?
Has Armada Sold out and Stopped Supporting Their Loyal Customer’s?
