Not sure what the point of that was but it made for a very staccato viewing experience.
It was a tough first run in all with the light looking pretty flat and speed at a premium.
Elsewhere in the field we were mostly looking at 50s or crash scores.
Kirsty Muir put one down too not clean enough on the rails to challenge.
Runs were all being landed, but just small errors costing lots of points.
It was light years above in tech but too messy for the podium.
That left Flora Tabanelli with the gold, Ruyi Yang second and Rell Harwood with a bronze.
Shuffle on his first rail really killed his score.
Cody LaPlante was on Armadas but had some big bobbles.
Andri put one down at the second time of asking.
Was he going for more on the final rail?
Judges certainly thought so, handing him provisional 3rd.
Second for now though.
Taking the lead with 89.43, which is a BIG score in the feature by feature system.
KRalph stepped up his final rail, back three swap transfer to bfed.
Not enough for the lead though, hand drag 7 wasn’t as good.
Luca Harrington cleaned things up, switch cork 4 disaster at the end was a highlight… 2nd.
Alex Hall was oh so close but it wasn’t perfect.
The back 8 tap transfer was so dope though.
