Jade: The buried down rail was an idea I had been working on for some time.

I was getting zooted in the woods during my shift when I came up with it.

It is meant to represent the ennui that exists in all of us.

GSP: Your latest work, the flat rail with no lip, has caught some flack.

How do you respond to this?

Jade: I look around and just see lips on to rails as, like, restrictive man.

The powers that be want you to hit a rail dead on and do a trick.

This was a rejection of that.

GSP: Probably your most controversial piece was your month-long installment of a closed sign on the last jump.

What was this for?

Jade: It symbolized how we as a society become closed off as people.

Like, sit down, stand up, take some bunk molly and ski man.

Its not that hard.

The jump will be open soon enough, and it’s already looking perfectly shaped.
