Kinnunen started out skateboarding, and gradually started snowboarding when winter time came along.
Kinnunen won Finnish Open 09, beating legends like Risto Mattila and Heikki Sorsa.
Besides this he has developed his own pro model board, and filmed with Flatlight Films.
