Jurys Pick at the Newschoolers Awards is our most amorphous category.
In one regard, it does exactly what it says on the tin.
Thats the easy bit.
Defining what we are looking for is slightly more complicated.
This year there were a bunch of great movies that fit the bill.
We all enjoyed Dylan Siggers crew movie Spliff and Stasis, featruing Svea Irving by Griffin Glendinning.
But ultimately, the winners had to be our unspoken ‘runners up from last year, the Simply.
Oiwai, which means Celebration in Japanese, is just that.
A Celebration of the feeling you get when you sink your skis in to perfect, blower powder.
To the whole crew, congratulations, we cant wait to see this years project!
