Non Plastic Ski Jackets

I’m after a bit of community feedback. I’ve never found a ski jacket that 1. I’m happy wearing in a city 2. Isn’t plastic So last year I decided to do something about it. I’ve launched it on Kickstarter and it’d be great to hear some feedback from some actual skiers. Let me know what you think!

All photos: Martin Axell Kimbo Sessions. Theres simply nothing like it. Everything else is a free-for-all. It really is a dreamland. Skiing art The event has been growing fast over the last three seasons and with good reason. How often do you see Parker White and Tanner Hall at the same park shoot? We Came To Ski & Die

“Let’s fucking die tonight!” The challenge list was open for 2 days and the crews slayed everything they could: skiing or otherwise. Yes, that’s a real tombstone. The slams continued and only got worse as the bar slowly moved up the 24 foot high high jump. AHall was tossing cork 3s over because he couldn’t straight air it apparently. Master of death, Matti Raty, kept the crowd entertained throughout the event....

SuperUnknown XV Results & Recap

Each skier brought his own flavor to the park, with riders spanning the whole spectrum of style. Some of the custom made features lent themselves to especially creative approaches. Friday was reserved for big air, specifically a 95 foot jump. Everyone hit it with relatively few issues nonetheless, and it kept the stoke high. And this year, it was Remco Kayser who took home the coveted SuperUnknown crown.

ON3P Is Shaking Up The Industry... Again.

Its a path they set out on last year, but this is a full blown line release. If you want the new Magnus 102 for your summer or Southern Hemisphere needs, it can be yours. Were more confident in the benefits of the change and the rational behind it. Last year was sort of a trial run to see how this might work. Why is it dumb to release skis that you cant buy for eight months?...

Party In The Park: A Community Run Spring Session

Words by Ben Amburgey. Last year Titcomb hired Seth Noonkester as general manager. With 6 days to go until the event and practically nothing done we discussed canceling. The blade was almost half the size; had no wings on the side and barely any working hydraulics. 10 rails and jibs of various sizes and ability levels were crammed into the beginner slope. Temperatures were in the 40s with plenty of sun and the park was buttery soft but not too slow....

KimboSessions 2018: Rider List and Course Preview

Last year’s KimboSessions produced more banger edits than any competition I can remember since JOSS.I was lucky enough to spend most of the week out in Klappen, enjoying what is currently the closest thing skiing has to a Superpark shoot. The setup for this year is just starting to take shape (see cover photo) and it looks like it’s going to be all-time yet again. You’re going to have to use your imagination a bit as the build isn’t quite done yet, but there’s something for everyone invited and it’s sure to produce skiing that blows minds all over again....

Alta: The End of an Era?

The lifts are a bit inconveniently located, but its part of what makes Alta, Alta. Baldy, altering this long-standing status-quo. Both projects have been completed without backlash from locals, mostly because nobody goes to Catherines Area. Baldy, an 11,068-foot peak with terrain that has until now, only been reachable via a 20-minute hike. The lift could also be used for skier access below the tram or in the east and west Mt....

We Got Drunk With Pit Viper & Made This Article

Turns out, cash was the easy part. The trouble was getting their drunk marketing team to agree on a what a paid article should look like. Let me remind you, they paid us to run this article. 10:40am: Running a full page ad in Freeskier that just says Fuck Newschoolers Thats it. They said theyd pay for it. 10:41am: Boobs wearing sunglasses Thats all I wrote down, actually. Not sure what we were thinking with that idea....
