A mountain so small that you could literally drive right passed it and never know you did. It wasn’t anything special, but it was that moment when the switch went off in my head. I never thought skiing would become such a big part of my life. We basically stuck to the groomers and eventually saw those stupid little side jumps pop up on the trails. We thought we were awesome because we were able to hit jumps on skis....
I thought I knew what it was to be a skier. Andes Tower Hills, Kensington MN, is located way out here.. In the middle of nowhere. Relocating to Minnesota, I had very low expectations; what sort of backward skiing could the flatlands produce? I knew not to expect much from the ski hill. I knew the frigid temps would not harbor powder. I figured park would still be worth hitting, until I saw it....

I grew up just outside of Burlington, Vermont. Im the best skier on the mountain. What mountain do you consider your home mountain? The Freeskiing Team (FST) is one of the best things about UVM. The goal of the team is to help members become better skiers, which it definitely does....
I lucked out this season and had two opportunities to ski out west with our universitys ski club. Better snow, more terrain, and endless exploration adventures. My first trip began at the beginning of January as we set off for Aspen Snowmass. The 26 hour bus ride began with only one rule; dont throw up. Life in Snowmass Village was plentiful in beer, making each morning more difficult to take first chair....

Do you control the hair or does it control you? I’ve been growing it for a couple of years now. So my grandma is kinda in control. I’m from Schwanden, Switzerland and I turned 22 this year. Ive got to say it’s probably my favorite place on earth. How do you feel about that as a law? I got out of the army because of my ACL injury so, Im in the Civil Protection Service....
Where did you get the idea? Is it something you’ve been thinking about/planning for a long time? How many stops did you make along the way? We managed to split up the driving times by making lots of stops aka eating at Tim Hortons. In total we stopped in 16 cities and small towns. Do you prefer these short film key in of projects? That and Voleurz is gone and we had nothing better to do… why not go on an adventure....
