Depending on the day and where I’m at. I like the Chronics for riding big jumps and extreme park sessions. The Anthem for all the above and even skiing big lines. The Blend is my favorite West Coast ski, due to variable runs through pow to park. And I use Master Minds like most people use the afterbangs. It is symmetrical in shape and flex. Stiffer underfoot and softer on the tips and tails....

Each session the park has gotten better and better, and that’s saying a lot, because it was pretty dang epic to begin with. Session 3 started off with two really nice days and our camp photog, Erik Hoffman, was hustling all over the park, getting photos of people having a good time. It’s an awesome start to the summer. Campers have been sending it like never before. Best of all we’ve been hot lapping our T-Bar like there is no tomorrow. The Launcher and the Dryslope rails have been getting sessioned pretty hard as well. Chris Turpin was here with the Russian Team and he was hitting the Launcher switch. Here’s a shout-out to all the coaches from the other camps for coming over to ride our park…...
Ben Girardi is the Head Photographer for SGT Argentina. Girardi has put in his time with the SGT family down in Bariloche. Ben has shot photos for more ski and snowboard teams then you could backside 7 over. Ben has published photos in every major industry publication. Ben G. is soft spoken, honest and a very smart human being. But, do not think because quite that his photos are. Ben sets the tone for the artistic vision of SGT’s photos in the Andes....
Before Wiley Miller departed on his two week visit to the COC summer camp in Whistler, British Columbia, he stopped by the office to load up on some staff sale essentials and a few samples. How he fit everything on the ’92 Yamaha, well that was more luck than anything.If you happen to be at COC during the DANG session, all that gear in the basket is fair game…String bags, nice touch....
Among those early events were the likes of The East Coast Freeskiing Open and Vermont Open. Enter the Paul Mitchell Open Freeski Tour. Skiers were able to take multiple runs, leaving the pressure of the two-run-max behind them. In its inaugural year, the tour would make stops in Breckinridge, Big Bear and Mount Snow. Again, the East Coast would be without any major Open events for up and coming athletes....

When you arrive at camp the first thing that most people notice is the endless skatepark that winds through campus. With so much to skate, it’s possible for you to imagine how much fun the skate campers have here at Windells. The Northwest is known for having amazing skateparks and we double-check to give the campers the opportunity to ride a variety of parks, including our own backyard.
