The final World Cup Halfpipe of the season is here! Hosted at a windy Mammoth Califonia. The weather held off proceedings for an hour and plagued riders throughout the final. The men’s field was missing two big names, Alex Ferreira and Noah Bowman, due to injuries. Let’s get to the highlights! The wind picked up before Hannah Faulhaber’s run, with big gusts going across the pipe. She dropped-in in a weather window opening with her signature, stylish blunt air straight into a left 9....

Big Air contests are dizzying affairs these days and X Games more so. Here’s what went down under the lights. Teal Harle set dominance early landing run after run and taking an early lead. His switch 19 bring-back to 18 earned him the highest single run score of the night, 49. 96 was his total score after these mind-benders. His witch dub bio 1980 was his best, worth 42. On try 3 he sent for quad and went down really hard on his side and well, bounced....

Yesterday’s men’s slopestyle final certainly had some highlights, but it was severely curtailed by the weather. Today, brighter skies shone above Aspen and we got our first taste of the slopestyle course in daylight. The jumps were a little messy but she stomped a full run. The only issue was a slight hand touch on the left 9. Tess crushed the rails again but couldn’t get the speed right. The run was a scratch but that was HUGE....

The weather in Aspen continued to provide less-than-ideal conditions for Saturday’s events. Women’s superpipe was set to go down under the lights in the snow and fog. _ First through the ditch was Sabrina Cakmakli, who put down both-way 5s in a clean run. She lost some speed through the pipe , but we were underway! Dylan Glennie had a solid first run, her right 9 safety a highlight. Amy Fraser showed off her trademark 9 off the back of a switch 7....

X Games is the big one (at least 3 years out of 4). Colby Stevenson was first to put down a whole run. The back 3 swap transfer was savage and a dub 16 stale at the bottom was sick. Max Moffat had a dope dub bio 14 but bobbled on the first rail feature. AHall, Birk, and Andri all showed promise but didn’t get clean runs first time around....

Well, that was wild! Lets get to it! Sandra Eie laced a dub cork 10 safety with classic Norwegian style. This set the benchmark. Megan Oldham came out with a triple cork 14, a worlds first, attempt. Grabbing high mute and super styled but she wheelied out of the landing and couldn’t hold on. Mathilde threw a clean dub cork 10 but wasn’t scored highly for it. Olivia Asselin dropped in switch but didn’t like the takeoff and bailed early on the rotation....
