What is corn snow? Corn snow happens when the snow undergoes a good melt/freeze cycle. When new fine-grain snow warms up, it becomes slow and sticky. But if it is allowed to ?cook,? water will evaporate and the grains will get bigger after a good melt/freeze cycle occurs. This kind of snow is not sticky, it?s corn snow! It creates a luscious, velvety snow surface — ideal spring conditions! And Alpine is king when it comes to corn snow and spring skiing and riding....

Freeriders Fabian Lentsch, Alexander Kristensen, Erling Magnus Solheim and Sigurd Lvfall spent Easter in the Norwegian mountains. The cabin Olavsbu is located in the middle of Jotunheimen national park and is open to the public. The area is home to some of Norway?s most spectacular and untouched mountains. The only competitors for the first track are lost cross-country skiers on their way to the next cabin. The weather gods were by our side and showed us Norway at its finest....

On Thursday we stopped by the KAB Rails shop to check out the progress on the new Saga x Windells collab feature for this Summer. I won’t give away all the secrets of whats to be when the feature is finished but below is the work in progress, see you this summer.Inside these two doors is where your favorite features are conceptualized and built by the KAB crew. With a client list that includes premier resorts, summer camps and traveling rail jam setups they have literally done it all, and that’s just the snow side they can also build you a skatepark if that’s what your looking for....

The crew is gearing up for another amazing summer of bluebird laps and tie-dye mayhem. The Surface crew has been killing it this season. Despite some stranger than normal weather, the cameras were rolling and the skiing never stopped. Windells regular John Ware had one of his best seasons to date. Working closely with the 4bi9 Crew, he pieced together a ridiculous movie segment for their film. John, you slayed it....
