A well lit face can be the difference between an awesome shot, and a throwaway. Lightstands typically do not have adjustable legs. This makes it tough to use them on uneven mountainous terrain. But really the best options are cheap tripods from Wal-Mart. This creates really cool and unique results....

Two weeks later, I headed thousands of miles across the ocean in search of powder skiing. Going to Japan was nothing short of a dream come true. The trip lived up to my expectations and even surpassed them. I skied powder everyday and I was especially impressed with the terrain options there....

No, this is not me quitting freeskiing. Instead I have been reading for my flight-exams, working at the airport and going to the gym. Today I even tried my new Salomon skis. Time to read some more, and maybe a quick night out with some friends. We’ll see.
The first week of our summer Instagram contest was overwhelming to say the least. With 800+ photos submitted from all around the world, choosing just one proved difficult. Photography is the most creative and stimulating piece of the social media puzzle. And yes, Twitter is kinda boring . Can’t wait to see what happens next week..

We were hoping to find an exit to some potential lines and pillow sets. Apparently there is a ladder built to descend the cliffs at the bottom.
