3/4/12 SnowBalls/ Trip Report 3/4/12

Bluebird weekend with the Snowball festival. EV saw big numbers. 140 by two o’clock yesterday, 90 by noon today. Top of the World today reveals tracks everywhere. Temperatures rising again over 30 degrees. Waited and watched the first two venture to attack the cornice with a rope. I waited with Law above and watched. Good to leave a person in a safe area if you decide to tackle a cornice....

LARS update week 3

First thing every morning I plug into my Gameready for 15 min with my leg elevated on a wall. Pop a few single double legged squats then my day can start. Biking the first part of week 3 was still stiff. My cut kept popping open so I had to hold back on it. Stoked for spring to come through Vancouver so I can start bombing the streets on my bikes....

Skiershop at Powder Week

Additionally one day was reserved for ASSFART ? meaning ?all ski something fast awesome rad together,? where skiers made as many laps as possible on the Tram, each with a different ski....

My day from a high perspective

Home sweet home is what they say, and I truly agreed today. Sore body and a well deserved day off. Drove from Kongsberg this morning, and flew from Sandefjord to Trondheim. Took a few pictures in the air over Norway today. Somewhere south of Sandefjord. I think it might be Tjme what you see straight ahead. I thought Lillehammer (Lilyhammer) was beautiful, but Trondheim is not too bad Clear to land....

THE FLOOD

Our trusty old tractor/zamboni at the Rossland Arena is being retired this year. Possibly the outdoor rink kitty corner to the arena? that would be sick. Anyways, check out the video Juicy Studios put together.
