Late night out last night, checking out the nightlife. We were totally in tourist-mode today, trying to see what Buda had to offer us Norwegians. Really beautiful city to wander around in, and the weather helped us out today. Budapest is divided into two parts, Buda- and Pest. you could see the Buda-side on the picture with the river dividing the two parts. See what I mean? This made my day, it was so relaxing and peaceful....

Saw a two guys I recognized from yesterday at the Pitkin stop again today. Asked them about yesterday, what they saw and such. Just interested in their observations from a big cycle day. Didn’t think anything of it until I got to the bus after my lap. Saw MFD Pontoons alone at the bus stop. Said hey and inquired about the whereabouts of mid -fat Atomic. MFD said that his buddy kicked off and lost a ski....
Lovely to get a little time off skiing and get recharged for the busy period to come. Super-excited to finally beeing able to do so. Wonderful clear weather on the way to Oslo. Somwhere over Malm, Sweden on our way to Budapest. As far as my knowledge goes, Budapest is well known for its architecture and buildings. Seems about right, as most of the buildings were pretty damn insane. A little sceptical, perhaps?...
Val Thorens was host to the Frostgun Invitational 2012 and the riding did not disappoint. After postponing the comp by a day due to bad weather, the event began in bluebird conditions. The two that it boiled down to were Kai Mahler and Rico Schuler, the to young Swiss stars.

She wanted to win the day’s event AND win the overall title. She did it and she did it well. ?All the girls are really skiing very well these days. The level is definitely being pushed. It’s really exciting when you’re up there dropping in. On the kickers it was a perfect switch 720 and switch 540 on the jumps. Devin Logan completed the podium with a switch 540 and corked 720 tail grab....

Nothing is more interesting than seeing a place you’ve never been. I am currently on the way home from a trip to the Pacific NW. I was up at Mt. In Bellingham, I met some cool people and was able to see the sights. Had some great food.Once I got to Mt. Baker, I rode 4 days non stop. I did alright in the slalom competition. Placed 7th in my division, 11 seconds off the winning time set by Terje Haakonsen....
