Keegan Kilbride is one of my favorite skiers. With luck, this is just the beginning of a new chapter in Keegans illustrious career dropping banger content. We are spoiled with free content. His transition from park rat to backcountry Bert has been rapid and clinical. A sight we’re gonna need to see a whole lot more of! Keegan is on Sammy Carlsons Armada Whitewalker for the park seg too. Its sick to see some big ol boats out on the rails again, getting steezy....

We caught up with legendary freeskiing pioneer Philippe Belanger to get his top picks for new gear this year. We couldn’t be more proud to see them still supporting our sport. Specs: The Opala Snurf Club 125 cm Slurfer subdeck is laid-up with traditional poplar and fiberglass sandwich construction. The subdecks are manufactured internationally on the same production line as Nitro and Ride Snowboards. There are two sets of threaded inserts that provide the option of either front mount or back mount. Why am I on my way to go demo a powder snowskate? Dare I say, the Opala would make a nice one-skate quiver for a strong-bodied all-mountian freeride athlete....

This piece is The Bunch’s love letter to street skiing. Spoiler alert: this ones really F***ING good. Its a pitfall of many big budget ski films that they can dehumanise how gnarly all the skiing is. The skiing is ludicrous and we all know when The Bunch drop content its gonna be insane. Magnus Graner and Alex Hackel always come out swinging and set the bar high. To be stacking bangers at this rate is just bonkers....

There is a happy balance between its rockered tip/tail and camber underfoot, allowing for easy turn initiation. The Studio 2.0 is plenty capable on the hardpack and has some legit groomer performance. My main takeaway on riding rails on these was just how well they held up without edges cracking. Im a fan of wider skis on rails, and these definitely fit the bill. The tips load up really nicely when doing the nosebutters and have good pop....

Very impressive considering COVID shipping times and that they came from the UK to western Canada. I chose the classic black colourway in an XL. (If I could go back tho, Id get a large.) However, the snowpants look gangster and have a nice proportional fit. The built in waist gaiter has been a lifesaver many times this season. Not only is it comfortable, it keeps your shirt tucked in and saves you from snowburn....

Forever, the latest Tanner film,releases today. Constantine describes the film early on as an essay on Tanner rather than a ski movie. This is a fair warning as the movie remains slow-paced and thoughtful throughout. Tanner, now 35, talks in great detail about feeling back on top. This is most evident in the way the Hall family talk around witnessing Tanner’s injuries and recoveries. Despite being difficult to watch at times the film is insightful and thought-provoking....

I was raised on ski movie premieres. So, me and my local posse got a ride there from one of my friend’s dads. Clad in tall tees and beanies we entered the venue, grabbed a seat, and buckled in. Under the bluish pre-screen lights my eyes caught those of the crowd around us. Familiar faces immediately began to emerge. I was in awe. WEwas one of the last films Poor Boyz Productions produced....

Intro: Zipfit has been making premium aftermarket liners for ski boots for quite awhile now. Each Liner is handmade in Italy. The second set of boots these ended up in was a set of Head Raptor 140 RS boots. Despite the name, these are actually 130 flex in the stock form. The lace going through the metal eyelet was causing some pressure points. For those of you who suffer from perpetually cold feet you may still require heated socks or boot warmers....

Ive been riding Armada for over 16 years. Grew up trusting the brand, pushing it hard on cliffs, steeps, and sidecountry lines. The Declivity X 102s were supposed to be a chargers dream stiff, responsive, and durable. Three pairs of Declivitys. All shattered, delaminated, or blown out under normal big mountain use in less than 10 days each. And Armadas warranty support? Replaced 2 pairs, and assured me the technology changed....
