On Sunday, January 9th I skied with the Team Summit Big Mountain Team. At this time there was little new snow to be had. Thanks to Jason Anthony for the shot. The following week was made up of unexciting hardpack skiing, but it was still fun. However, last weekend was great. On Saturday, January 15th I had one of my best inbounds days of skiing so far this year. I was skiing with the Team Summit Big Mountain Team....

The name is tricky to pronounce, heres some help (SHEER-shaws). So the rail jams will continue but with some different venues around town. It’s hard for me to tell who is actually working on any given day.
Whilst the snow has been great, the weather has not. Mostly bringing high overcast conditions with very flat light. Not ideal for photography at all. We’ll just have to wait and see what comes. The cracks in the clouds created some crazy sunset colors. This was shot with the Canon 300mm f2.8 L IS and a Canon 1dMKIV.

That’s right. How cool is that? 2 million plastic bottles are used in the U.S. every 10 minutes. 51 billion plastic bottles go into U.S. landfills every year. Recycling pre-consumer cotton helps to keep 5 billion pounds of waste from going into U.S. landfills. It takes 1/3 lb of agricultural chemicals to produce 1 cotton t-shirt. Cotton consumes 60% of the insecticides applied in the U.S. Recycled cotton doesn?t take the manual labor or land use that is required for conventionally grown cotton....
