The event dates have also been adapted. The Invitational will take place from 19.5. However, Im very excited that the Molltaler Glacier is willing to jump in to host the event. Dane Tudor: First and foremost, the mountain and the community make Rossland and RED home to me. Ive been riding here ever since I could walk. I would be up here every day skiing. It’s been an awesome place to grow up. Yeah, that’s a really funny question. I grew up ski racing with Red Mountain Racers. Thats what enabled me to start riding big mountain. So I was always up on the mountain just throwing backflips and Lincoln loops and stuff like that....

Not sure what the point of that was but it made for a very staccato viewing experience. It was a tough first run in all with the light looking pretty flat and speed at a premium. Elsewhere in the field we were mostly looking at 50s or crash scores. Kirsty Muir put one down too not clean enough on the rails to challenge. Runs were all being landed, but just small errors costing lots of points....
