This season, a woman sued a Northeast hill for having a exceptionally fast chair. This double chair was said to be intimidating to beginners and grandmas. But alas, it backfired, and it somehow seemed to attract more customers than before. They all of course had to post about their annual ski trip. They are a game changer for people who are equated to regular lifts common at smaller mountains. The mom that is pressing charges is Boston’s Karen La-Clare....

Mental health issues are nothing new to America or even action sports. There have been several articles about mental health issues and suicides within the community. Sometimes mental health issues go under the radar. I don’t think most people are particularly stoked on the current situation but personally, it sucks. I think that maybe the whole point of skiing is the fact that its ephemeral, its short-lived. I spent exponentially more time driving to go ski than I did making powder turns this season. I spent many orders of magnitude more time sitting on chair lifts than I did in the air. For most of us in North America, its been about a week since the lifts stopped spinning. Inbounds skiing is over....

The 2019 FWT Champion, Markus Eder, is currently back home in South Tyrol, Italy. Like many of us, he’s pretty much locked in the house. We are lucky here where I live. “Personally, as bad as it sounds, Im actually enjoying the LockDown. I think Ive never been switching off and detaching form everything as much as these days. Passing my time is no problem at the moment. Weve plenty of things to do and it seems like the time is flying....

Everyone loves a good pow turn. The rush of the deep snow is something many of us live for. This year in the Tahoe area was a dry season. We didn’t get those huge dumps that people were looking for to get their fill. That said, there were some killer spring days with good coverage that many people skipped. It worked out great for the locals but the others really missed out....
