In skiing today there is an (over?)
abundance of great content.
and, of course, the new Traveling Circus Russia episode.
He highlighted travel as one of the areas he’s trying to reduce his impact.
Many of us are coming to experience what the Swedish have dubbed “flygskam” (flight shame).
And I’m not the only one.
Quite a number of the Kimbosessions crew this year rocked up on trains rather than planes.
I even met Rosina Friedel, who also stars in Stanice, en-route.
Pow stashes were accessed with some lifts, but largely by skinning, again reducing the impact.
As people have rightly identified, all of us who ski but care about the environment are hypocrites.
All of us in the western world really.
But that is no reason or excuse to do nothing, to make no changes to our behavior.
I know I did.
