Home Mountain: Yosemite National Park
In life, there are many things that help you escape everyday life.
However, my way of escaping everyday life is to take a trip to the mountains.
This leads me to the reason why I love Yosemite National Park.
It sounded as if the bear would have been 3 feet away from our tent.
On the last day there, before we left the next day; we planned a Half Dome hike.
(The most memorable/greatest hike of my life).
The hike was 17 miles total, there and back.
Half Dome was an elevation of 4,800 feet.
We started about 6 A.M in the morning and ended at 9 P.M at night.
It was terrifying because we did not expect to come back that late.
The mountain was so dark, you cannot even see your hands.
Everyone was worried that something might come out and snatch you.
Luckily, it did not.
Yosemite National Park was absolutely the greatest thing that happened in my life.
The feeling of freedom and the feeling of the connection with mother nature is absolutely wonderful.
This is definitely a memorable moment and a moment where I can say Why I Love My Home Mountain.
