I have been working on being real stable on every tricks and working on stomping them perfect. I have so much idea’s and spinning will be the easiest part. So here’s a lil update. This was my second attempt at making the lap through the line off of Little Cottonwood Canyon. The forecast was sunny and there was plenty of fresh snow. Two of my friends were visiting from CO, making it all the better. Breaking trail before sunrise, done at noon. Almost slipped in on the icy rocks in the dark. 1/3 the way up. Sunrise hitting the south side of the canyon....
Check out this edit from some fins in Finland. They really know how to get it done and this whole edit just radiates fun. plus the backflip at the end is ridiculous and I need to do it now.
Wind, rain, sudden drops in temperature and of course our favorite, the blizzard. Ski and snowboard photography can often (though not always) involve a lot of sitting around and waiting. Sometimes when I’m snowmobiling this extra layer is full down jacket. Plenty of water More food than you think you ought to need. The same goes for thirst and hunger. Being comfortable will improve your success ratio and pay off in the long run....
Jackson Hole and Grand Targhee Last week I went to the Grand Targhee Junior Freeskiing Open. However, before going to the event I skied in Jackson Hole. After a long drive we arrived in Jackson Hole at about 3:00 on Tuesday, March 15th. We took a lap on Teton Pass. During the hike the storm we had been hoping for moved in. The next two days we skied at the resort....
Green Mountain Freeride is a collection of VT born and raised rippers who are traveling the globe shredding. With our crew assembled, we switched cars and drove from Teton Valley to the park. Upon arrival, we decided to climb and ski the East Ridge of the Grand Teton. After some debate we decided to head down from roughly two thirds of the way up the face. Since then only a handful of skiers have attempted this route....
Hey all, Been awhile for the posts, been a strange week. Two supposed eight inch dumps rolled through, the first with incredibly high winds. Had and interesting run with my friend who’s first EV run was on Saturday. Hardly noticed the two no pack boarders wandering up behind us. We went down to tweeners to look at it and stomp some cornice before dropping in. My buddy was still on top waiting to drop in, staring down at the carnage....
With liquid amounts of 1.5 inches or more we could easily pick up 3 feet up top by morning. It is windy this morning as the storm approaches and the heaviest snow will push in this afternoon. Snow showers will continue all day Friday into Friday night dropping another 1-2 feet by Saturday morning. That is on top of the 136 inches we already picked up the past 6 days....

I tried my best and tried to get a better run in than I did last year. But I?m so stoked that my sister got third today.
There’s always a first time for everything! Now it’s time for banked fever in Gargellen! The location is Gargellen at Schafberg and the race starts at 10:00 am. There are so many talents out there that never get to showcase their mad skills. In a conversation with Marco ?Fichtl? Feichtner, we came up with the idea of a banked slalom and the wheels were set into motion. So let the games begin....
