On route to Malaysia I stopped in Hong Kong for the weekend. The first day we went through the Hong Kong History Museum. It was amazing to the history Hong Kong has. There were bronze bowls and artifacts from the Ancient Dynasties that date back to 6000 BC. That’s pretty crazy considering Canada has only been a country since 1867. Later that day I took a tram up to the highest city lookout....

Luckily, I used my Contour HD POV camera on all my trips. So I gave Darren a bunch of the best shots and he threw them in the movie. So I was stoked to be a part of it after all. The intro to this movie is really tech. It is one continuous shot with a whole lot of shit happening. Darren was rigged up in this walking dolly mount to make the scene look as smooth as possible....

Which in my opinion, is much more valuable.  It was high fives all around!  It was great to see so much terrain open and with near worry free coverage.  Happy Turns~JP

Another great day in Hafjell yesterday, so many happy people skiing in the sun, and freezing temperatures. I brought my gopro-camera to take some photos, but ended up not working due to the cold. However, I got to film one lap through the park with it. Looks fun, and it is. Late night last night, so I am at home today, skiing again tomorrow.

But by all reports, Ted absolutely slaughtered the course, masacaring the competition. The Beaver Creek Victory has eluded him for years now. Some of the major published photos show a bulkier and very determined Ligety with aggressive stance and intention.
