The Surface boys stroll around the Whistler Village on a beautiful sunny day… livin' is easy!

We got grey skies instead of the blue that makes the shots look so pretty. We found this rock split in half that had a little kick on the end. The video shots turned out pretty cool. Upon arrival it was Tyler Barnes and Steve Stepp, hey tones! Good flat down set up at the top of the run, Barnes agrees. Lip 270, hey correct me if i’m wrong Tyler. switch 7 blunt with sky accessories. He should just put his name on this hitching post after today. Steve Stepp was also there but like most mummies he is very elusive and remains un-photographed.

I went home before it was even done. No need to push it when I was crashing whatever trick I tried. I love skiing, believe me! Slopestyle on the other hand, is a little more fun! Gotta go, 6 hours in a car is what’s up!

Are, Sweden Ahhhh spring, when young men’s hearts turn to things like VIP parties, beautiful girls and massive, perfectly shaped booters (yeah, with a “b”). Things couldn’t be lined up better at the moment for Team Canada made up of Momentum camp coaches TJ Schiller, Justin Dorey, and Ian Cosco (all mega-PROOOOO). The boys are off in Sweden representing the Great White North at JOSS, the event that EVERYONE wants to be a part of....

Pretty much going to copy & paste this post from my buddy Parker’s blog. I’ve called Parker up a few times this season to help out filming me for Nimbus. It wasn’t anything unexpected though, because I read the storm forecast, so we went to work. J. Eichhorst and Hayden Price accompanied us and we headed out to the slackcountry. Some of us a lot more slowly than the others....

How does it feel to see someone in your gear? It’s sweet man! SS – Well said. What direction is the outerwear headed for next year? Waterproof rating, features, etc…? SS – It will be really, really dope. KS – We are just trying to put the next foot in front of the other. What sizes will be available? SS – There will be a Large option now. Guys and girls who aren’t tall enough for the current sizes of the gear....

Karl Fostvedt was more then excited for this opportunity. He also suggested letting his roommate, Jeremy Lato, tag along since he had another sled. I approved of this idea and very happy I did. We rolled out of Salt Lake fairly early on Wednesday March,31st. When we arrived in Tahoe the storm was already winding down and setting up for a perfect first day. We had multiplethings scoped out that we were hoping to bang out quickly....

Each year it feels like closing day at Aspen Highlands comes too soon. So, before we break into the eye candy. Laps in the Highland Bowl were a must. Without further adieu, here are some photos from the closing day shenanigans at Aspen Highlands. First chair of the day: I will have an eggcellent day! A foot+ of fresh pow in the bowl? Wait, is this really closing day? Man, winter sure did decide to come late this year....

I wanted to go up to the apron and ski above everyone else. We rode back up supreme, cruised up the sidestep and then the boot pack. It was big and awkward. All went according to plan except the massive yard sale that followed the impact. I ended up leaving my pole in the landing and skiing down with one ski and one pole. My other ski was in Dan’s hands at the bottom of the run....

To get skin loops to fit properly over Moment’s signature square tips, I had to sand the corners down a bit. It ended up working very well, and I had perfectly functioning skins for the first post-season tour of the year up Granite with Tyler.
