Home Again

I had to post these pictures from the flight yesterday. There was this “couple’ sitting across from me in the airport. A nervous looking business dude seeming to desire the clasp of hands with the stereotypical Portland character. I couldn’t tell if it was a he or she. I got to the airport at dawn. I liked the way the water runs over the windows going 400MPH. Jefferson to Long’s Peak in CO....

The Man Expo Day 2

Today was the second day of the skate comp at the SLC Man Expo. Today Austin and myself took part in some manly quests that the show had to offer. We started off with a Texas Hold-em freeroll that I got knocked out of early. The windows were already broken but I went to town in the roof.

2nd place, Norwegian champs slopestyle

Today my day went from unbelievable sucky, to fantasticly good! Woke up at 0300 AM with terrible pains in my stomach. I felt better this morning, and got up in good time for slopestyle practice at 0900 am. Everything went okey all day, just feeling a little slack. I qualified into the finals, and you’re able to watch the final at FRIFLYT-TV. I ended up second place by the seniors, with unbeatable Thomas Dlplads at the top of the podium....

SLC PRO-AM.

Below are a handful of pics from around the event. Shaun from Action profiles sporting his fitted. Austin Wyberg had all sorts of consistent skateboarding to use during the jam session. Front Lip down the rail. Nate Holland takes this kickflip to flat. The indoor wake ramp looked sketchy, urban style setup. Tim battled the crowds for his share of schwag. After the event we went to Fairmont park in Sugar House to skate for a few....

A Week With The iPad

The quality of the program really shapes your experience. If you are looking at it purely from a hardware angle, then sure you could argue that. However, I think these people are clearly missing the point. Some of my favorites are Instapaper Pro, USA Today, AIM, and Twitterriffic. Oh, and the ability to run and scale up iPhone apps is basically useless. If it’s crucial that you run an iPhone app on your iPad, it works fine....

Breckenridge To Mammoth

Its always funny how quick seasons tend to go. You never forget each individual one but they can often be a case of blink and you miss it. Well my time rolled by in Colorado this week as i packed my bags to head to California. I was under no illusions about how heavy my bags are. They’re probably around 60kgs right now. To make the trip more interesting i made a timelapse from Frisco in Colorado to Mammoth, California....

Megapark railjam

Here is a few shots from the railjam tonight. I am pretty beat after today, long day skiing slush and throwing down. The setup was a large flatbox builded up by two large energy-drink cans. Uber-sketchy, and absolutely not super-fun. But it was allright.

Oppdal day 2

Today was fun but windy as hell. Me and Eirik had a few cool runs before we called it a day (lunch). Really slushy and hard to guess the speed, as it’s different every lap. The rails was pretty fun though. Had a few cool moves I was saticified with. A lot of cool people up here now, and just fun to fool around in the slushy park. Tonight there is a railjam in the park, on this high double-energydrink-can-flatbox....

The Gathering ? Day 2 ? Red Mountain, BC

Day 2 of The Gathering was a pretty good one. We started out early skiing powder at Red Mountain in Rossland, BC doing laps on the Motherload chair. Such fun, steep terrain. It’s such fun bouncy terrain, I miss skiing in the Northwest so much. Paul Morrison joined the crew that day to help round out the crew of the old gaurd. I’m stoked at the idea of this event growing in the years to come....
