Just chillin in our room at Oppdal gjestetun. With us we have Aleksander, a guy that is a chef and a skier. What a perfect combination! Just had the best chineese dinner ever!! So stoked to go skiing tomorrow with Eirik. Hopefully we’ll get a few follow-shots, cause the park up here is amazing.
Saturday started off with a stop of the Salomon Jib Academy tour. After all was said and done Matt Wilcox came out on top. Picking up an oversided cheque and a trip to the Jib Academy finals in Mammoth. The judges tallied the scores and the winners gathered on the stairs for their big cheques. The weekend finished off with the Skier Cross.
This was one of those things I got to go to that was quite an honor for me. I also got to find out that Christian Pondella has a lot of emails to answer.
I feel pretty good about myself. This is still in Norwegian, but it should be helpful. This is not the only way of doing it, but I hope it helps!

The winter Urban Plagne took place from March 31st to April 2nd with 9 teams made up of 3 riders and 1 cameraman competing for the best video and jib award using La Plagne as an urban backdrop. It was cool getting faster laps on that zone. So they are just stacking up the pow, should be an epic day up there tommorow. I guess when it is snowing this hard you do not have to stray far from the lift. Lets hope this is not the end of our late winter. I got to go to the Smith Optics backcountry park in Smiley Creek, made famous by the robot food movies. A huge thanks to Smith for making this happen, it was a dream come true to get to hit these jumps. Travis and Jussi killed this spot in the movie Lame, and it was surreal being able to see the zone and ski it with perfect conditions. We didn’t know if we would get good snow conditions since we were going at the start of April but winter came late this year....
