When Eliel Hindert gets into town he and AC make a good team. Here are a few from our 10/11 catalog shoot.
Who else but a Romanian/German would go skiing in a t-shirt and two hoodies when it is -10 and snowing because he “is a rugby player…” Richard Tries Frontflips… from Jeff Amantea on Vimeo.
Such a good day today! We received a bit more snow, which made pretty much every cliff boost fun and doable. I have a dope edit almost ready to be revealed. Keep your eyes open for it! And here is a picture of the Dark Knight:

Their production, planning, and organization was really Impressive. Also, I’d really like to thank the staff at Retallack Lodge. They did such an outstanding job accommodating this rowdy bunch of skiers. The food, hospitality, and environment was on another level! BIG THANKS!!!!! The next day I was on my way to beautiful british columbia, my new favorite place on earth. The Red Bull Cold Rush is a contest to see who is the best all around, mountain skier....
I’ve got patellar tendinitis in both of my knees. It hurts like crazy and is not going away by itself. So, a couple weeks ago I asked my twitter followers if they had any remedies. Thankfully @outsidehilary (from Outsidemedia) told me about KT Tape. Supports sore or injured muscles, joints, and tendons without restricting motion like compression bands or wraps. KT Tape is like a brace, but better, and even more comfortable to wear....
At least it feels like it is, even though it is just a part of the easter-holidays. I simply hate rain and ice covered in slushy snow. Today is all about doing nothing, watching Simpons and drink coffe. Stupid weather, makes the season really short this year.
Some of you have asked me if I could make trick-tips videos to post on my blog. I know that every skier has to start somwhere, to learn new tricks. I started on scratch myself. Therefore, I let you decide. If not, then No.
Tignes, France: the host of the 1st ever European X-Games! Tonight was pipe finals, the top 8 riders that qualified from a field of 16 chosen athletes. spun down the pipe. He would finish where he started in 8th. Tucker was going big all night but the competition just kept stepping up and left him in 7th. He finished so close to the podium in 4th. He was unbeatable throwing huge doubles much to the delight of the pumped up crowd....
Friday was the last day of the inaugural European X-Games and the sun finally bested the frigid temps. But riders and spectators welcomed it like a day at the beach! This was a competition to remember and kept us all at the edge of our seats! 45 min then the best of 3 runs to determine the winner! Tom is a machine on the rails and makes it look way too easy....
And then there is Bobby Brown, arguably the best slopestyle skier in the world at the moment. He scored a 97.33 to finish a full 6 points ahead of the next best skier Tom Wallisch. Bobby taking his switch double misty 12 all the way into town! Definitely more fun to watch in person!
They have internet as well and I am just a 2 min bus ride to the X-Games venues! This is the view to the left looking off the balcony.. The chairlifts across the way.. The view at night looking out over the mountain ski town of Tignes. And yes it is really cold! -25C which translates to -10F… brrr! Hopefully it warms up tomorrow and we get good weather this week finally!...
