This week has been all over southern parts of Norway. Jib Academy tour was back on track, and I was back on the road. First off was Drammen ski-resort, just outside Oslo. Nothing special, really. Elling (Salomon-manager) was back on skis, and like a kid on christmas. Beitostlen ski-resort: One of the coolest rail-parks in Norway. Jump line is small, but good. They had some issues about the landings though, and the weather was REALLY windy on the final day....

It’s been a busy February in Whistler and the Olympics are truly underway, resulting in a very quite mountain and a very busy town, the atmosphere is amazing. There are lots of free gigs going on, Swollen Members played the other night with skiers and snowboarders jumping through rings of fire behind them and a huge snowball fight in the crowd, pretty awesome. The mountain itself has been so quite all month and with amazing snow conditions and blue skies I have managed to get out touring and hiking a fair amount....

I came back home from a week long trip this evening. Hopefully it will stop snowing, so that I can go skiing in Hafjell. This week has been way to much travelling, and allmost no skiing, just watching. See you in the morning!

From the 801 (Utah) , I flew to the 802 (Vermont) . My first day skiing i spent at Smuggs. It was vermont day, 1/2 price ticket. Smuggs brings back alot of memories having skied there for about 8 years. The snow was good, the weather was great. Skied the day with my sister Ashley and her boyfriend Andy. At this point I was lost until I caught up to a few friendly Canadiens....

Yesterday the entire skiing community lost a great friend, CR Johnson. He died while skiing his home mountain of Squaw Valley. He will be missed but never forgotten. ?We?re about three minutes out. We?ll give you the word when we?re set, CR,? Dustin, the cinematographer, answers back. When he gives me the word, it?s go time. CR Johnson passed away today skiing at Squaw Valley today. Any goals for the Games or beyond? Ever since I saw Tony Hawk land a 900 there, and C.R. This year I got the chance to ski with CR at the Linecatcher event in France. Seeing him ski so well and take 2nd place was awesome. CR had one of the most positive attitudes I have ever seen in a skier....

We traditionally get more Snow at Copahue even though we are only 20 minutes away. That means if you want to ski or ride Powder, you want to come Snowboarding with us.
