Good Times in Grizz

The Wasatch is finally looking filled in and we’ve been enjoying some great days in the backcountry recently. A lot of time has been spent in Grizzly Gulch, hitting some really fun jumps and finding delicious pow stashes. Today we hit a jump I’ve been looking at all season, and under bluebird skies, hammers were dropped. It was myself, Witt Foster, and our homie Dale Talkington sending this fun little number, getting shots for the next 4bi9 flick....

SAGA AND TREW IMPRESSIONS

Made of a heavy material that seems really tough and durable, and all zippers are sealed. When I did get hot the pit vents worked well but with 15 minuet hikes it got warm. The jacket maintained a comfortable temp very well while skiing or just standing around watching a night event. the powder guard worked well and the cuffs were not to large and functioned well. The material is tough I hit a lot of tree branches and there was no wear to show....

I F*&%ING Love Aspen: Vol XXIV

Spent another weekend in Aspen skiing at Aspen Highlands. We had two straight pow days. Shot video and photos. I’ll get those edited up and on MMP this week. Deep Temerity lift, sometime around 3:15. Apres at the Ritz Carlton. The drive sucked, it took 6 hours to get there and 5.5 to get home. Thankfully I made it safe and sound thanks to the studded snows on the Jetta.

Incredible Night Session

The jump had about 20m and was really poppy with a steep landing. Thanks for the pics dani!

January Backcountry

At first, the snow in the Wasatch was pretty thin and it left us with very minimal options. On our way there we ran into some money complications. Luke and I made the drive whilegoing only 65 most of the way. This turned a normal 8 or 9 hour drive into 11 hours. Thankfully, we finally made it to Reno and met up with Cameron Fair of the VisualCollective. The snow was not too deep, but a massive storm was rolling in....

Pitstop

Fredrik is making videos for Salomon this week, and had some small difficulties with his computer last night. I think he was up to 3.00 AM to fix everything. The edit will be out tonight I think. Last season I basically was living in my bag all winter! This year haven’t been as bad by far! This week will be a lot of packing and un-packing though. Salomon made some sick-ass shirts for the Jib Academy, I fell in love at once!...

Sport Praxenthaler Touring Day + Show + Night Session

Sport Praxenthaler organized a Touring Test Day at Unternberg Ruhpolding (http://www.unternberg.de/), Germany. Lots of companies were there to get their stuff tested. Of course, Charlie and lots of K2 skis had to be there as well. I was helping out with designing the jump, which went pretty good.

Swish.

Until then, here is the last round of photos, enjoy! Alone with the Swashbuckler. Reminds me of a Zoltar machine but this guy could throw down a stencil or two. Never trust a claw machine in Vegas. In between Vegas and Salt Lake.
