That’s exactly what I want to do I thought to myself. It is my first season at Stratton. I lack the skills and the knowledge necessary for navigating to the best kept secret stashes. Polar Bear was my go-to trail pick for the first two weeks. Exposed rocks were capped with a milky layer of ice, but there was quite a bit of fresh. I crept along cautiously, my eyes darting left and right to see where tracks disappeared and re-emerged downhill....
My computer is slow, and there is no possibility for real-time playback. Skiing is skiing, and here it is.

The first wakeski tournament in history was held at Orlando Watersports Complex on September 5th 2009. The event went even better than everyone expected. Two of the judges were wakeboard legends Shaun Murray and Cobe Mikacich.
This is Stereo Team skier Bjorn Jokerud’s own video edit of his stay in Orlando this summer. It includes shots from the Wakeski Open, training at the Tramp Place, hitting the inside Wake Pool at Surf Expo and more.
Today the forecast had changed, and they said snow was coming out over summit county. The weather you see on the picture, rapidly changed to snow and total whiteout. That sucks, but we have been lucky so far with the weather. The following week are supposed to be the same, hopefully the forecast will change again. I will make a run at make and edit, but my computer is way to lazy for that....
Today marked the final day of superpipe competition for the men and the ladies.
Alarm set for 7 AM, a few things to be done before heading out to keystone. When I first ski, I want it to be go-time! That’s why many of the Norwegian mafia head out to Keystone in weekends. In keystone there is basically a eldorado for hitting jumps, and then you need a lot of speed. This morning I tuned my ski-edges so that I can hit rails easily, and waxed them properly....
Pleasantly enough he qualified for finals tomorrow (sunday), yea Chug. Below are some pictures I managed to get throughout the day. Look back for more content after tomorrows finals. AJ is my favorite rider in the pipe, so smooth and style for days like this dipped 5. I liked the side slippers they were my kind of crowd. Why would i be looking at the ground when the action is in the air?...

With 14 cms of new snow and high winds the first day of the Red Mountain Junior freeski comp got underway. The field was filled up with over 100 eager rippers with the 12-15 boys being the largest category with over 40 entries. Other than high winds and a few clouds the conditions were great with dry snow and good visibilty. In the 7-11 girls Mackenzie Flood and Kimberly Best of Red Mountain Freeriders slugged it out with strong runs for first and second plce while in the 7-11 boys a zesty grab led to a fall that kept Red Freerider Logan Tanguay from moving forward to day two....
